BIOGRAPHY
There’s a sense of atmosphere in everything Tony Scozzaro plays; like a scene unfolding in sound.
A Buffalo, New York native now based in St. Augustine, Florida, Tony Scozzaro is a formally trained guitarist whose foundation was shaped through his studies at Villa Maria College, where he immersed himself in performance, theory, and composition. That training became the groundwork for a career defined not by one genre, but by a lifelong exploration of many.

Scozzaro’s music lives at the intersection of tradition and imagination. Hints of classical discipline and flamenco phrasing weave through jazz harmony, blues soul, and contemporary acoustic textures, creating performances that feel both grounded and cinematic. His playing can be intimate and lyrical one moment, then bold and rhythmically driving the next, always guided by instinct and musical storytelling.

Throughout his career, he has worked as a professional performer, session guitarist, and collaborator, contributing to live shows, recording projects, and creative partnerships across Northeast Florida. His arrangements transform familiar songs into something newly expressive while his original work reflects a deeply personal artistic voice.
Whether on stage or in the studio, Scozzaro approaches the guitar as an instrument of mood, color, and connection creating performances that draw listeners in and leave a lasting impression.
